Culinary Carousel with Jordi Roca and Massimo Bottura

Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura in Florence is set to host a special dining experience with its Co-Executive Chefs Karime López and Takahiko Kondo alongside their mentor Chef Massimo Bottura from legendary Osteria Francescana, and Jordi Roca, world-renowned Pastry Chef from three-Michelin star El Celler de Can Roca in Spain. For this event, the chefs will create an unexpected menu in a Culinary Carousel that celebrates multicultural cuisines.

Jordi Roca’s training in the sweet world started with Damian Allsop, a talented Pastry Chef who worked at El Celler de Can Roca, Jordi’s family restaurant, at the end of the ‘90s. In 2012, he started Rocambolesc, an ice-cream shop inspired by the desserts he created at the restaurant.

In 2020 Jordi inaugurated Casa Cacao, a chocolate factory in Girona with a chocolate shop, tasting area and boutique hotel with 15 rooms.

He has been the Honorary Academician of the Royal European Doctors Academy (2019), Chef Pâtissier (2016), World’s Best Chef Pastry (2014), Chef Millesime (2013) and Best Pastry of the Year (2003).
